Note this does not
include wild boar which are extremely well distributed throughout Europe and
Asia. Note the other species of sus around the world.
While pigs are
widespread, the farmed pig population is concentrated into
several specific areas:
Small dot: 100K pigs, middle dots 1million pigs, large
dots 10 million pig areas
North America, Europe,
Brazil and South East Asia.
